Meet Merin Alias

"I built this course because I saw the same struggle everywhere. We do incredible work, but technology holds us back."
For over seven years I’ve been working in the development sector—implementing programs, conducting research, and supporting communities. The impact is real, but one gap keeps appearing again and again: the technology gap.
Most of us come from social sciences or humanities backgrounds. We do incredible work, but often rely on manual, time-consuming processes for tasks like translation, design, transcription, and reporting — simply because we haven’t had access to practical tech training.  Today, that gap is most visible with AI. 
I initially tried in-person trainings and webinars, but AI is a hands-on skill. Short sessions overwhelmed learners, live timings didn’t work for field realities, and high costs kept many grassroots organizations out.
So I built a different solution: An online, beginner-friendly program you can access anytime, learn at your own pace, and revisit as often as needed — designed specifically for nonprofits, and priced to stay accessible.
